ANY QUESTIONS?
GOOD TO KNOW!
We have summarised frequently asked questions about washing and care:
Fresh stains are best dabbed with a damp cloth first, otherwise a localised stain can be pre-treated directly before washing with ‘natural’ stain removers such as neutral or gall soap.
Important: Please do not use oxygen- or hydrogen-based products!
It is advisable to test the colour fastness of the fabric on a concealed area before washing.
- Do not overload the washing machine; do not fill it too full, so that the items can move around in the drum.
- Do not put trousers in the tumble dryer.
- Be sure to use a mild detergent. When choosing a detergent, it is often important to consider the accessories.
- Heavy-duty detergents often contain bleaching agents (e.g. optical brighteners), which are good for white laundry but can cause colour loss in coloured laundry – and conversely, they can mobilise the dyes.
- Trousers containing wool should only be washed on a cold wool cycle or by hand.
- It is very important to spin as little as possible, then dry the trousers flat and under no circumstances use a tumble dryer.
- Unpleasant odours after washing are often caused by the washing machine, so leave the drum door and detergent drawer open.
- Clean the washing machine from time to time.
