THE JURY ON MAC JEANS
The committee of the German Sustainability Award honors MAC JEANS for its courage and innovative spirit in scaling nettle as a previously underutilized natural raw material and processing it into a usable denim fiber. Particular emphasis was placed on the conservation of resources and climate protection, the innovative approach, MAC JEANS’ strong commitment throughout the entire supply chain, and its clear role as a driving force behind a sustainable transformation of the textile industry.
